I got my AW 335i couple months ago and encountered the same situation. The sale rep was able to locate a car in Ontario with the configurations that I would pay for. However, the other dealership did not want to release as it was the only AW 335i available in Canada at that time.
Dinomite, you have to keep calling your sale rep and make him to jump through hoops to have your car release. At the end, my sale rep has to contact the GM at the other dealership. It took more than 2 weeks (the car was sitting in the lot for 12 days) to have the car delivered. |

Yeah, i'm not too thrilled about the 16 speakers, that was the least favorite option that i'd ever want. I'd rather have the Nav even than those stupid 16 speakers lol

Same situation here. Purchased a 335i sedan with M Sport on Friday. Sales rep was able to find a suitable vehicle somewhere in Canada. Got a call on Monday informing me that the car I bought was already sold!
The sales rep informed me of the other vehicles located in Canada that fit (kind of) my requirements and asked me for 1st choice, 2nd choice, etc. I inquired today, but haven't heard back. Advice? |

they are prolly transporting your car by "driving". not much of a way of transporting and they'll charge you PDI too...2 weeks aint that bad. figure a couple days for paper work on this end and that, a day for transportation, a couple of days to do the detail, clearn interior and all that other dealer stuff they like to do before...makes you wonder if they're unionized
