look of matte black on AW

Does the look of matte black wheels blend too much with the actual tire and not look good on an AW car? I haven't really seen any clean aw with matte black rims in person and I would think they would just blend with the tire or give a little contrast when brake dust collects on them =/ Do they look any good without a time attack ring or something?

They look amazing on AW if you have the black/white contrast theme throughout the car. Without that theme, they will look off. As for the wheel blending in with the tire, I don't think so. Check out Jon's car below, you can definitely see the line between the wheel and tire.
