Most of the time a BBN is the first event club members have attended. So if you haven’t done anything with the club before, this is a friendly way to get to know the old timers.

I will, my car's probably gonna be really dirty though, haven't had a chance to wash it and it decided to rain all evening.

Same here. My car hasn't really been clean all summer. I'd wash it, and then these crazy thunderstorms that we've had all summer would just dump on it, and then all the dust would stick to the drying water.
