I'd vote but there isn't a Google/Android Phone option. I have a G1.

Wow, must be a slow day for someone in Jersey...
I have an iPhone 3G, but who cares what phone I have? Are you going to create an ad saying "more BMW owners talk on a Blackberry, so if you drive a BMW you need to get a Blackberry..." sorry, I just can't stand seemingly worthless threads posted just to put ur name on the board. Don't mean to offend anyone, just venting. Now, that said, I really wish I got the iPhone option on my 128i. Half the time I have the stereo so loud I don't hear when the phone rings, and when I do catch it I wish I had the safety of hands free and steering wheel controls. |

The poll ignores Symbian, which has a larger share of smartphones in the world compared to all the others combined, as well as Android, which is picking up speed. Lame poll, should at least have included an "other" option.
Besides that, what's the point? Like turner23 said, what are you aiming for? I could understand this if you were asking which phones integrate best with the car, but otherwise I see no use in this. |

Windows mobile for me. HTC Touch to be exact, but I'm about to upgrade it to the new HTC (Touch Pro I think) in the next couple of weeks.
I like having seemless integration with Office because that's where I keep all my appointments and contacts, and even though the selection isn't as good as the iPhone, the apps I need are readily available. I use the Bing app all the time when I'm travelling. |

It isn't a perfect solution but I put a Garmin nuvi 760 in my e88 and feed its output into the auxiliary port. On long trips, I listen to MP3 files played back on the nuvi and if I get a phone call, it automatically mutes the sound for the call. Works well but doesn't interface with the car if you're listening to the radio. So then I have to hit the steering wheel button to switch over to the aux feed (I see I have a call on the nuvi display). A better solution is to get the BMW Plus or Pro system and have the dealer install it. Then the radio is muted for calls too. The Pro takes voice commands. The Plus is touch screen (the plus is very similar to a nuvi 760 and the pro is like a nuvi 880).

Motorola Brick. I've had it for 18 years and it still works great. I have had to replace the battery a few times, but reception is still good. Plus, it is hard to lose it, and I've never had it go through the wash in my jeans pocket!

wow! yeah, I could see this hot topic needs to be kept confidential...I'm going to go out on a limb and say that you are in the market for a new phone and want to get what other BMW driver are using? I hope that's not the case; it would make you a real douche-bag.

Hope you don't think you're going to get any useful information out of such a poorly thought out survey. As I already mentioned you missed a couple big ones. Seriously, this thing is a joke, how could it be so important you can't say why?
