Anyone on the Trinidad?

Current status on the 800 number - "Your vehicle is at the port awaiting a shipping vessel. No shipping information is available at this time."

I'm hoping that this means that it has already cleared the VPC, and that it is waiting for a truck to take it to the dealer. Does anyone know whether this is the case?

Just talked to my CA - he said yes, that the car is just waiting for a truck to transport it to the dealership.

At this point, he is thinking that I can probably pick it up Friday night or Saturday

He's been right with respect to tracking thus far - fingers crossed.

Owners Circle website is saying At Preparation Center. Since this site is always behind what's actually going on, there is a chance it could be on a truck.

My car is on a truck that was suppose to arrive today. It still hasn't shown up but my dealer says sometimes they get a truck late around 5:30. If not, he said it should hopefully be there tomorrow morning and I can get it in the afternoon. I just hope it doesn't show up late tomorrow or I'm out of luck until Tuesday.

Picked up car. BMW installed lighter wood instead of darker wood. Dealer gave discount. 850 over invoice price. Awesome deal.

What about you guys? Hoz the car?

Which trim did they install? How is your car? Any pics?

I picked mine up at 3:30, didn't get out of the dealership till 5:00. By then it was dark and raining so I only drove for a little bit. It is suppose to be sunny here tomorrow so I plan on doing some serious driving and taking some pics. The car is great. I will post some pics tomorrow.

I picked mine up yesterday morning - it is beautiful. I will post some pictures soon.

I am really impressed with how fast I got this car - closed on November 30th and was driving it on December 30th. That is pretty amazing. Granted - I was pretty luck - the dealer had an unsold car that was going into production in 2 days, which they modified to meet my spec. But still, we're talking just over weeks.

Enjoy your cars, and post some pics when you can.
