Question BMW 5W-30 or Lubro Moly 5W-30 ?

I recently received the latest article from Bavauto regarding which engine oil is better BMW 5W-30 or Lubro Moly 5W-30 ?

Here is the direct link with the info, let me know what you think, they even lowered the price of the oil to compete with BMW oil.
https://www.bavauto.com/shop.asp

Has anyone used the Lubro oil and do you recommend it?

Don't you think bavauto may be a bit biased if they're selling the oil?

FYI: If you use a different oil in the car other than the BMW oil you'll void your warranty. They have tracers in the oil.

This is not true at all, you can use any oil as long as it it BMW approved.

5W30 synthetic is recommended so as long as thats what you been using then you should be okay just make sure you have it done at a legitimate place with a receipt of this or else its voided. Put it this way should something happen dealer will need proof of oil changes especially if wasnt done at the dealer. I recommend Mobil1 or castrol.

One thing to keep in mind, if you use Mobil 1 use the 0w-40 because afaik the 5w-30 is not bmw approved.
