First Timer: BT Scan Results?

Well I just got my 'JB3 + Basic BT Cable combo' and I decided to mess around with the BT, just to get acquainted with the software.
My car is used, I've had it about a month now. It is completely stock other than a BMS drop-in filter that I just installed. I have not yet installed my JB3 and I'm now reluctant to do so after seeing the codes I found - no sense in installing if I have to pull it right back out.

Anyway, so I was looking through the folders on the left of the BT Sofware, looked through the fault codes, fortunately, nothing was there.
I saw Shadow Fault Codes and decided to check it out.

These were my results from the Shadow Fault Code folder:
Code:
Current Shadow Fault Codes

2AAF:
2AAF Fuel pump, plausibility
Error will not cause a warning light
Error is not currently present
Test conditions have been completed
Short circuit or signal interruption

 Freeze Frame Information

injected mass of fuel	9.00	l/h
Event 2
Odometer	47584kms	29567miles
fuel pressure before mass control valve	4,797.27	hPa

injected mass of fuel	11.00	l/h
Event 3
Odometer	47872kms	29746miles
fuel pressure before mass control valve	4,500.10	hPa
Engine speed	1,344.00	rpm
voltage Kl. 87	13.91	V
injected mass of fuel	7.00	l/h

2A17:
2A17 DMTL diagnosis module tank leakage, system failure
Error will cause a warning light
Error is not currently present
Test conditions have been completed
Timeout
Upon searching the forum here at E90, I have come to the conclusion that these 'shadow fault codes' are nothing to worry about. Is this true? or am I looking at a dealer visit in the near future?
I have not received any warning or check engine lights.

Through searching again, I read that the other code was something about the gas cap not being secure or something of the like. Anything to worry about with this?

-So what do these codes indicate? A fuel pump on its death-bed?
-Should I proceed to install my JB3? Will the tune push my fuel pump over the edge?

Need some experienced advice.

EDIT: Checked the Stickied topic 'Bavarian Tech Code List' and looked up both codes.
For 2AAF it states: "Very common code stock and modified alike, does not trigger a CEL. Just ignore it."
And no explanation for the other code (2A17).

ya the 2AAf is nothing to worry about. the one to worry about is the 2FBF that will throw a light though. That usually mean the pump needs to be replaced. That is the one I got and had to replace it.

Cool thanks.
I panicked a little bit when I saw the codes.

So I'm OK to install my JB3? I wont be taking it right back out for a bad fuel pump fix?
What about that other code?

You should be fine to install the JB3. the other may be because of the gas cap. give it a check to see if it clicks when you take it off and on. That is kind of common as well.
