getting something from bottom of car?
Hi, I have an E93 & I dropped a plastic clip through the engine bay & it landed on the plastic piece on bottom of the car. What's the easiest way to get it out?

The plastic piece is called a splash guard. You can remove it easily by driving the car up on ramps (or putting the car on jack stands), sliding underneath the car and unscrewing about 10 screws that hold it on the car. Slides right off.
Alternatively, you could just replace the piece and leave the old one down there. If it's small, it should fall out. |
