What will happen after the OCC get clogged?

This is one of my major concerns about OCC. I know regular emptying up is required but what if the oil build up on the filtering material eventually clogs the OCC? My understanding is excessive crankcase pressure and then a blown head gasket or something else? Has anyone heard or experienced(hopefully not) the consequence of a clogged OCC?

With the amount of constant pressure flowing thru I don't know that there would ever be a way for enough to accumulate to cause a problem.

Then again, I may be missing something here ......
