That's because the resistance is different between the LED bulbs and the standard items you had on before.

I hope you're using OEM projector lenses and not sticking re-based H7 bulbs in the Mr Kipling halogen reflectors...

I installed some OEM LEDs not long ago. My car is a 55 plate. The ones I bought came with resistors thus no errors.

went to the dealer today Arden in maidstone, asked about the oem led's, they lent me one to try, fitted it and no error has come up yet, bough the pair and fitted them. had to buy new plugs anf solder the wires to the originals, no bother at all and all working, will see if it throws up an error after it has been driven. cost in total about £26 but nice to have oem parts. i fitted led door courtesy lights from ssdd and they really are worth the effort a huge improvement over the originals and top quality too.

Cheers for the info.

The new plugs etc, did the stealer know what to order or were you met with blank looks and shrugged shoulders as often seems to be the case?

parts u need 2x led 63267193293
2x plugs 61136925634
and 2 x "repair wires"

cur off the old plug and solder on the new wires covering the join with heat shrink covers i have ordered the resistors from maplins, will let you know how i get on. probably easier to spend a bit more and buy the ones from ssdd but i like to use oem where possible.
