took a drive to jones beach, pretty amazing flooding at the beach. what looks like a boat launch is actually the stairs to the beach

i used a nikon d300 with nikon 17-55mm f2.8. my wife used a d80 with nikon 18-200mm.

it was an awful day to shoot as the skys and everything was so dull and dreary.....

just a little contrast and brightness was added where needed... the whole key is learning to nail the exposure and working with the light you have,...

i love bright vivid colors but this wasnt the day for it... my wife on the other hand who i think is better then me says my colors make her eyeballs hurt. ha ha ha
