Carpet wet-takin car 4 service 2 check for leaks-take out Proceed?
I know the golden rule is never to visit the dealer with the Proceed in, but I was thinking in this case, do I really need to? They're just goin to be checkin for leaks and probably not driving the car or hooking it up to their computer.
Be safe or you'd take a small chance and leave it in? Don't feel like spending an hour taking it out and putting it back in... |

Where is the carpet getting wet? I mean this can be troubleshooted by yourself if you can isolate where its getting wet..It can be a drain plug that is clogged and a easy fix...Some dealerships are butchers and have no right to even call themselves trained technician

It's the floor carpet behind the passenger seat. I've got an E93 too actually (I think you have one, no?) Any ideas? Dealer said over the phone the vapor barrier in the door might have even come loose, if that's the case, I can't rip open the door... |

Vapor barrier...not sure what that is, but as for the plugs on the door, they are usually underneath the door, so basically open the door and look at the bottom of the door and there are holes...stick a wire hanger in there to unclog the hole...
