Cotton T-shirts?
I have some old white 100% cotton t-shirts (Hanes) that have seen better days. I was going to trash them, but then thought they might be useful for car cleaning. Good idea or bad idea??

Depends how used they are. If they're still clean, not abrasive (soft) and not abused, then use them for your rims. Everything else, use approved stuff.

You could also use them to dust, like on the dash and interior. But I'd prefer MF to collect the dust rather than spread it around.

Good idea to use them for cleaning rims. I might use them on glass too. I figured that being 100% cotton they'd be fine - in looking at them again, I don't want to risk my black paint by using them.
Having spent >$100 on Zaino it makes no sense to cut corners on the other stuff. Thanks people. ![]()
