Sprint Booster Drive-by-wire power converter

Anyone try this component? And does it actually improve the acceleration?? Has this component been actually tested?

Any thoughts or experiences would be helpful.

Seems to me like it just improves throttle response, making it 'feel' faster but putting no real hp/tq increase to the ground. You will just use more of what's available in daily driving.
