Aerial Atom ftw

"short of Radical etc.."
Well, in couple of weeks you could try out how fast Aerial atom or Radical would be point to point in e.g. here: http://www.swerally.se/se,index.html

As Shiv mentioned the suspension travel in Evo is long. it is long enough for it to manage very well the long jump in the snow that appears in appr. 10 seconds in that page. I wonder how Aerial atom or Radical would manage with their limited suspension travel and slicks and how well the drivers could see in the snow storm without the windshield... The performance of Evo, is not limited by weather. The worse the conditions, the better Evo is in comparison.

(My choice is, of course, the real legend, rare, Italian, Rally world champion 6 years in a row, Lancia Delta Integrale, the predecessor for Mitsu&Subaru in AWD Rally cars.)
