Well, I just got a new set of tires and I am so damn pleased. Most are gonna laugh, but I dont care

I just got rid of PS2's and opted for Falken ZE 912. Ive owned at least 6 sets of PS2's over the years from E46s and E90s. But I have to say they are not what they used to be, quality has become poor and the ride is rough and loud.

The Falkens, while not being a "high performace" tire seem to have great grip, great turn in and smooth and quiet ride. The kind of ride that a BMW deserves. It now has the refinement back that a BMW should have, even with the Performace Package that I have and M3 bushings etc. Even passengers have noticed that my car is not harsh anymore and is a pleasure to drive.

I cant wait to get in and drive tomorrow and not be bounced around, and yet corner like a pro.

The car corners far better than with the PS2's with more bite, less roll and less noise.

And the best part, they cost less than 50% of the PS2's (which is not why I bought them), which is great added benefit.
