I think the installer is cross-eyed - he could even get the license plate straight.

That thing needs lambo doors.

I believe winter tires are a must on any vehicle! Especially in the regions where you expect a decent amount of snow. At least with snow tires you dont have to worry about getting stuck as much when you go have to drive in it.

Aaargh, I have the LM25 all around, not LM60. Does anyone know if the LM60/WS60 will be a significant upgrade to my LM25, or is it a moot point?

One thing...I almost forgot: :finger:

WS-60's are new and only came out within the past year. Before that it was the WS-50. And before that, they were called the Blizzak Revo 1's. Even the Revo 1's came out with an 18" diameter tire, maybe just not in a 255 width if you were running staggard. And yes I've had all 3 model tire. Revo 1 on my Audi S4, WS-50 currently on my wifes's GTI, and the WS-60 on my e92.

I find it suprising that you feel that the WS-60's were "more stable" than the LM60's because tread pattern is exactly identical, the HUGE difference is in the rubber compound with the WS-60 being "softer" thus their speed rating is significantly decreased and also lablelled as a "studless ice and snow tire," while the LM is a "performance winter tire" . With that said, having the a softer compound on my WS's has made my cars feel more "floaty" than the LM's. Especially during corners and turns. I have a buddy with the LM 60's on his STI and to me that felt a lot more like a stable tire in terms of the "floatiness" feeling.

But we all experience things differently so to each their own. Either way...winter tires are a must especially if you have an "i." I recommend them even on AWD cars. They just make a world of difference. Especially if you like to have "fun" in the deep snow like us xi guys .
