The guy emailed me back and said that the reason they opened the store was for our group buy and since we didnt get everyone in they essentially lost money ... He said that they had to cover their costs that day for employees and opening up the store.. they only needed one f-ing guy there.. The little girl DIDNT need to be there and the other guy that was there was working on other shit.. all they had to do was pay the installer that day and to say that 7 guys coming in at 60$ a pop didnt cover it? Seriously? What was the 20$ deposit for then?

idk i liked the woman.. she was nice in person, but i heard her on the phone with you Rev and she was probably just sick of saying to everyone that the deal was only for saturday.. i did hear the attitude though..

W.e i hope to find another place that does this stuff so people dont have to mess with it in the future. They should be treating us pretty well considering there are still around 4-5 people who still have deposits with them and want to get stuff done.

pm me if you need more info, but yeah i still have my facking deposit in with this place, and i go to schedule an appt and or ask for my money back, she goes we have no record of you making a deposit to VD, i fax them over a copy of paypal my receipt and suddenly she says "sorry, we just found your invoice", i go okay, thats a little fishy. i ask for my deposit back and she goes that's impossible we can't give you it back, guess i have to eventually get my trim vinyled from these crooks.

I got mine done and it's holding up just fine. And for $60 I'm not going to complain that it doesn't look 100% perfect.

It's definitely not factory. Since it's vinyl it has to be cut, so the cut is not 100%.

The vinyl seems to be holding up fine though and hasn't come off or started to tear.

If you have patience, time and a steady hand then you can probably do it yourself.

They did my install for the vinyl and I am suprised that you guys had so much trouble with them..

I wouldnt say their job is TOP NOTCH.. but they are not that bad... The guys were pretty cool and we hanged around for awhile when I was organizing the group buy awhile back.

For $60... cant really complain, as the material cost alone would be $25-30.. and if you were to do it yourself, you need TWO steady hand people.. it is hardto do it with only 1 person, even with stead hand.

It has been about 9-10 months right now, and the vinyl s far is holding up perfectly.

Ask Alex. (nj323ci), he had his done at VG like 2.5 years ago and I think it is still holding up well.

i got rid of my wrapped trim for OEM bmw shadowline trim back in August 2009 The vinyl held up ok for about 2 years, but it def wasn't perfect. you can still see the chrome all the way around the edge of the trim, there were slight tears and small holes over time and when washing the car, some lint from the microfiber towels would stick to the vinyl. All that being said, it was worth the $50 i paid back then... but nothing beats the OEM shadowline trim!!
