Possible DSC failure

Hi all

Something weird came up on my dash today but it did not re-appear after stopping and re-starting the car again. It was the two yellow lights for handbrake and DSC, also a DSC with an added ! sign came up in the computer display window too.

Is this the DSC failure I have read about on the E90 3 series, and even if it does not come up again is it still at fault?

Going to the dealers on Thurs as it is still under the AUC warranty period. Assuming something like this would be covered by that.

Do these units fail over time or was it a one off bad batch I wonder. My car is nearly 4 years old and would have thought this problem would have come and gone by now.

I had a similar issue. I started to receive it more often especially when going over bumps. Eventually i took it in and they advised one of the connections were loose and resolved it...

Thanks for the quick reply.

Lets hope its a loose connection then, maybe it is on the side where the dealer had taken the wheel off last month for a refurb.

Cheers
