European Delivery AND the Performance Center Delivery available together!
Until recently, you could not both take delivery in Europe AND also take delivery in SC at the BMW Performance Center. However, it is now an option to do both!! If you choose to do both, you need to notify your client advisor to forward a reservation form to the Performance Center.
I look forward to seeing you all! Donnie Isley BMW Driving Instructor |

what fantastic news!! Best of both worlds!! Definitely doing this for the next one...
Is there an extra cost premium involved if we opt for both?

This is amazing news,it opens up the whole market for CA's around the country. Now people can really shop and get some awesome deals and have the best driving experiences of their lives. So often on a ED redelivery, people just go back to their everyday routine and their trip becomes a distant memory. This way, picking up at the PC and working with Donnie on driving techniques, they 'll flash back on their ED trip and have an amazing ride home. Thanks again for the great news, now we need the details.......

IrvRobinson is right, aside from the cost savings from ED, a buyer can choose to deal with non-local dealers for the best choice, savings and service with the PCD part.

Holy friggen crap!
Not only is this rediculously awesome, but it also saves me that $500 (or more) I was gonna have to pay for "courtesy delivery" of my car to a local dealership (I'm seeing about buying from across the country). :rocks:

Extra cost? NOTHING! Other than the fact you have to get to the Performance Center. You pay for you own transportion to SC which is the way it is now.
The program is the same as a normal PC delivery. You are actual mingled in with customers picking up their new BMW's. You get the hotel, meals, driving and factory tour if available. We will also be able to answer any operational questions you may still have. Your delivery date will be based on when your vehicle leaves Europe. Once you drop off your car in Germany and it has been placed on the boat, we will then get an "ETA" for Port Jersey. Based on that ETA, we usually schedule 4weeks out from that date for PC delivery. Depending on where you live, you may receive your vehicle earlier or later than picking it up at a BMW dealer. |

Irv is taking care of my ED next October. I am assuming that other than telling him I would like my stateside delivery done in SC, that should be it? I hope BMW knows how great this is for the people who really love BMW. I have tried this route before and was saddened to find it wasn't possible. Please forward my lauds to the higher-ups that this is a truly great announcement! Just one more reason to buy a BMW.
