335I Electrical RAGE

Last night was the first night in ages we had some heavey-ish rain the car has been on the driveway around a week or so and hasn't moved. For some reason BOTH of the windows wound themselves all the way down completely soaking the interior has this happened to anyone else? I feel a little worried in case it does it again when shopping or out and some git takes advantage.

summat similar happened to me during te big freeze, I washed the car and put it in the garage, washed me doris's afterwards, when i came to get mine out of the garage the following morning all the windows were down, only pron was that one of the was frozen down and i had a 35miles drive in very minus degrees. I assumed I must have accidentally pressed a button on the fob to drop all the windows while i was washing me doris' car...

Are you guys saying it is possible to just wind the windows down remotely with the key fob? When I went out to the car it was fully locked but the passenger and driver’s windows were fully down.

To do that the unlock button would have to be pressed for some time as you sit down with the key in your pocket... and then (maybe as you shift positions, the lock button gets pressed. Unlikely but possible. The other explanation is that your car has a fault; is anything showing on check control...

yep, holding down the unlock button down accidentally will drop the windows and unlock the doors. Pretty sure the car has a feature whereby it will re-lock itself if the car is unlocked but no doors opened?

Pressing the fob by accident whilst in your pocket is quite easy to do, especially if you have other keys on the keyring. I did the same with my vert once but that used to open the roof with the button depressed. Went outside to find the three roof sections stacked in mid air
