I know that it definitely is if your trim has a clearcoat over it. So, any wood trim should be fine. I had to rewrap one of my pieces cause I had the weave going the wrong way, and all I had to do was tear off the fabric and use some rubbing alcohol to get rid of the adhesive. I cannot comment on aluminum though. Here is a thread that talks about the removal process.

I'll get better pics this weekend. Sorry about the yellow-ness, it was cause of the lighting and white balance. In person it looks just like the OEM CF leather offered on the m3's

how tough was it to do? i have aluminum trim so it may not be an option for me, since i'll have to be able to reverse it..
