Yep, I always used to keep it in A as well. Now I have it on the little L and its perfect. When it has weak K signals which are usually door openers and the like it will beep at whatever your muted level is(the rear knob), and if the signal gets stronger(as a real threat would) then it will beep at regular volume. Try it out, I'm sure you won't go back if you do.

Concealed display is awesome, if you need help hardwiring it let me know bro, I've done it way too many times on e9xs so I could lend a hand.

Haha good luck. They sell used for $380+ on ebay. However, if you are lucky you might be able to get a refurbished one direct from V1. They get them every now and then you just gotta ask them when you call because they don't advertise those.

you can purchase refurbed from v1 for 359+ shipping but yeah you have to call and ask, they dont have a lot of them. i just bought a lnib v1.8 from a florida state trooper for 275 shipped that he obviously did not need anymore, that was a once in a blue moon deal, i doubt anyone will find one that cheap again, these radars hold their value incredibly well. your best bet is ebay they usually sell for around 330 for the v1.8, some of the bids i got outbid on were up to 350 plus shipping though. got to just keep your eyes open, it should come in friday and i'll post up my impressions of it and the concealed display function, ive been using the solo series for the longest time so im eager to see how this stacks up.
