Need Advice, 2010 335i M-sport Lease

hello,

i went by the local dealership today to see what kind of deal they could give me on a 2010 335i m-sport coupe. I know the 2011's are just a few months away, so i figure i can get a good deal on leasing a 2010. They had a fully loaded 335i m sport coupe, with an msrp of almost $60k, plus the vehicle was equipped with the bmw performance kit, which was an additional $4k or so. I don't know the exact numbers as far as money factor etc, but with $2500 down, 12K miles a year, and 36 month lease, i was looking at $750 including tax per month. They said they would not charge for the performance kit as i didn't want it, but would "throw it in." i know with an msrp of over $60k, the m3 is a very possible option, however as far a leasing, the payments will be much higher on the m3. Does this sound like a fair deal given that 2011's are rolling around the corner?

thanks

hard to say w/o all the numbers. i recently got a 2010 m-sport with MSRP of $53.4 for $300 under invoice. 15k miles/year for 3 years. ~$1400 down. payment of $698 including tax. not sure how "great" of a deal mines was anymore but what's done is done.

I'd ask the same dealer for 2011 335is with "exact" option you want (maybe fewer options than the 2010 335i). If the two has the similar payment, no question to go with 335is. The body kit on that is just sick.

Well i will tell you my deal for reference. I picked up a 2010 Msport with prem, maual, ipod, sat radio, comfort access .Plus it had the BMW perf package.
The car listed for around 55k . I got 2500 rebate, plus another 6,000 off from BMW for a total of 8500.00.

I put down 4,000.00

and I am paying 658.00 tax in with 15k miles a year.

1. No matter what anyone or any dealer tells you, THERE'S NO SUCH THING AS FREE LUNCH. There is no way they are letting a 4k Performance Pack go for free because "you did not want it"... Maybe you didn't want the navi either, they should deduct that from the price too.

2. You didn't include the options on the car so I priced this car out with all the logical options (Msport, Premium, cold, logic 7, step, paddles, paint, ipod, sat radio, navi).

The MSRP is $57,575. At invoice + $500 and Cali tax of 9.75% the monthly payment is $708.00

Please provide a list of options and what is included in the performance package so that I can provide you a more accurate figure instead of assuming.

-Dmitriy

P.S. The M3 residual and MF's are awful. You're looking to pay about $1,000+/month for the E90.

Ask to see what they're basing their numbers off of to get a better idea of where they are at and where you want to be.

Congrats on the family connection and the great lease, hopefully the BMWNA folks that monitor this board won't see this post since IIRC employee leases are intended for employee use. Regardless your response doesn't help the OP with his question in the least.

OP, post back after you ask your dealer for all of the essential numbers in the lease contract (residual, money factor, car MSRP, and a complete breakdown of the inceptions and disclosure of all fees in the lease).
