335is M. sport short throw shifter

I searched this forum and found nothing. I read about this new I asked having the M sport short throw shifter.I am confused because BMW accessories sells a short throw shifter as do other third-party manufacturers. One of the few criticisms of E 90-92 has been that the shift throws are rather long.

Is this the same shifter we have or has BMW decided to give this new model a sweeter shifter than those of us who thought we were getting everything in the M arsenal??

Thanks.

The way I read the article it seemed the 335is would get a shorter throw shifter than the M3 which did not make sense to me. I would think the M3 would have the shorter throw.

Thanks.

Well my E46 and my E36 had similar throws to Non M's. Honestly there all long. Non of them are short. Just get a SSK and that solves the issue.

If the car comes with a bmw ssk get rid of it and go for the UUC. If the 335is doesnt come with a bmw ssk then still go for the UUC ssk. I have it in my 2008 e92 and I just ordered a another one for my 2010 e92. Its night and day compared to stock and the bmw ssk. I had the bmw ssk and got rid of it for the UUC ssk. One of the best mods you can make. The throws are crisp and short. and the shifter is heigh adjustable

+1 I have the 'fancy' BMW SSK (w/shifting arm) and it blows goats. Any other SSK could not be worse and is probably (hopefully) better.
