Mid April ED but car in 150 now?

I was hoping for March production because of the new buttons for idrive and USB adapter. Was shocked to hear that my car is in status 150 now. Is this unusual? TIA!

It is not unusual: the car is built about a month before pickup. I recall reading that the ED delivery center is overwhelmed with requests and a new facility is on the works. In addition, as a general rule you don't want to run the risk of planning your trip, buying the tickets, etc., only to find that the car won't be ready on time. Sorry to hear this time it played against you.
