Zaino Kit

Hi,
I am thinking of buying "Zaino Total Protection Show Car Kit." Will I need to buy some sort or sealant or wax on top or that? The polished included in the kit will not protect but rather enhance the paint, correct? Also where do people get their zaino from in Canada? or are you just ordering from the USA?
Thanks

Zaino's polish is a sealant, so you do not need anything else. It protects longer than any wax I have used.

Zaino in Canada is available from "The Barbers Chair" in the GTA; or online elsewhere. Z2pro and Z5pro are sealants (despite being marketed as polishes), so you'll be ok for protection. If you actually want a polish (as in an abrasive) you'll need Z-PC.

I's been mentioned before that Sal's use of the term "Polish" for his sealant products is confusing to many. As Picus mentioned, they are in fact sealants or the last product to apply for protection from the elements much like the old school term "wax" was generally used for the last thing you'd apply to a vehicles surface for shine and protection. Zaino is simply a chemical version (synthetic) of what some might think of as "wax" and is the protective layer you put on last. It goes on very thin and can be layered. My single favorite characteristic of Zaino is it's durability.

Now (again, as picus said) if you feel you need to in fact buff or "polish" the paint first before applying the final sealant you might want to add the Z-PC Fusion "polish" to the order. Z-PC is like the more traditional definition of a "polish" or paint cleaner and buffing product to remove imperfections like marring, slight etching etc.

Trust me gang, I'm not pushing this stuff - just used it before and wanted to clarify some of the confusion with this product line. If mitch asked there are probably others who have wondered the same thing and I wanted to share my experience.

Try here, www.properautocare.com, I use their Blackfire products and they are very good.
