nice. but if they are too dumb to tailgate, i don't think they will be smart enough to have the right brakes to stop in time.

I've gone down the road described by you (Cool Carbon pads, other brake fluid, steel lines) and am quite happy with the brake performance of the car. No fade, linear braking force, and due to the slotted rotors better braking performance in the wet (under dry conditions that won't change anything though). Less expensive than a BBK (I'll be going with AP eventually, I guess), and already a substantial improvement, in particular if you want to track your car occasionally.

The 335i front AP kits seem to be around £2K?

Is that what others are seeing?

Do the pad wear sensors fit in the AP pad backplates, or do you have to ditch those. You can't unplug them though else you get warnings up.
