Does this sound right?
I ordered my E92 on 1/18/07 and this was a vehicle that was allocated to my dealer. It is scheduled for production the last week of February. I don't have a production # yet. Is is normal not to have a production number 3 weeks before production is scheduled to begin?

no,it's impossible ! Every car is assigned a production number and then about 45 days before it's produced,get's a vin number,pehaps the CA was thinking you wanted a vin,but it has a production number.We all use a DAR ( dealer activity report to track inventory,in transit,produced not shipped ,ordered for production.Contact your CA again,ask them to make a copy of the DAR showing your car,it only takes a few minutes,then you can see everything on a line,the codes are easy to understand......
