Newbie question
Hey guys, I'm new to BMW modding and this forum but I just picked up my '10 328i coupe in november 2009 and its still under warranty but was wondering if an AFE intake and maybe a RE IKON exhaust would alter my warranty at all?
Thanks for any help! |

No mod really voids you warranty. Although, if you have a problem with something else on your car and they can trace it back to the intake or exhaust that caused the problem, then you void your warranty.

Just ask the BMW dealer. It does void your warranty for that section. If you want to change the intake, change it to the BMW performance intake or a Dinan intake as they both would NOT cause you to lose your engine warranty. Air intake is related to engine btw. For the exhaust, if it ever screws up, then they wont repair it. So basically, they'd only fix parts that are OEM if it screws up and if they relate any damage to that modified part, they also wont fix it for you
