A few questions:
Will the oil damage the MAF sensor (something like that) when the DCI sucks the air in? How much oil do we need to spray / apply on the filters? |

id clean the whole filter once or twice i did it three times may be overkill lol and then just fill your oil bottle and gently run across the tips of the strips. it will immediately turn red and soak in wait for it to dry and go then touch it up if theres any spots that arent red but it doesnt take to much really just get it flowin and swipe it across

N54 is not MAF based it's TMAP so essentially no since there's not one. On other motors yes you can over oil and cause MAF issues but they can be cleaned although you need to be careful. You could google cleaning a MAF sensor and I'm prtty sure you'll find some info.

Yep it detects pressure not flow. The MAF issue is because the charged film gets gunked up with oil and you have to be careful if you clean as you can damage it further. I've cleaned the one on my E46 before with really long qtips designed for cleaning printer parts and some IPA. It cleared a code I threw and worked for me.
