Question Stage 1 and Stage 2 - Stage 2 shifts early at high RPM

I have two runs on top of each other. The 1st run is in black and the 2nd run is in blue. Please let me know which one is acting better on my car.

This is Stage 1:

This is Stage 2:

I'm testing Stage 1 and 2 on my car now. The thing I like about Stage 1 is that it holds the power much longer near redline, as Stage 2 felt stronger all throughout the band except the top and up-shifted to the next gear sooner. I'm using Map 1 in each stage as well. Why is his happening?
Can you guys let me know if I can run on Stage 2 with no problems? Stage 2 is running fine on my car,(which it feels like it), except for the gear changing much quicker at high rpm.

Thanks

From what I can see it shifted at the same rpm just got there quicker, meaning stage 2 is making more power.

Wow Stage 2 is 18psi in the middle and then 6psi at higher RPM?

Nope. The scaling is different. If you look at the left of the chart, you'll see that both stg 2 runs make 15.5psi at the cursor point.

OP- If you want to force scaling for both superimposed runs, press "P" and manually set the max/min points for each channel.

I'd run stg2, fwiw. It makes more power and your car likes it judging by the ignition advance curves.

Ya I'm seeing the same thing, ~18psi and tapering down to ~6 psi towards redline........

Shiv,

How can you tell that the scale is different? I looked at the number on the left as you mentioned, but to me that seems like it's reading the lower psi number of the two graphs, which IS ~15.5 psi........

You can tell its scaled differently by looking at the "Snapshot" box in the lower left. The black data is run 1. The blue data is run 2. The numbers represent the individual values at the cursor point. You can see both runs boost values at 15.5psi.

So I fixed the charts to be zoomed in by adjusting it with the letter "P".
How Can I adjust Stage 2 to hold gear a little longer like Stage 1 does on Map 1?

Stage 1 is the top
Stage 2 is the bottom

Shiv, so Stage 2 is running good in my car and can make more power. Can I somehow use(upload) "Map1 as Stage 1" and "Map2 as Stage 2" as I rarely use Map2 +. I'll like to have more power only when needed instead of having to switch maps with a laptop and I can just switch it on the fly with the DTC button.

We are in the process of changing user torque logic which will effectively give you this ability. It's a prerequisite for the auto-tuning feature. But it should be useful by itself too.

Open the CSV file using excel. You will be able to see every single value of the boost.

What gear were the pulls in? My guess would be 3rd considering the duration.

Other than the way the car feels....what in the datalog should we be looking at/for to give us the thumbs up or down? I know shiv mentioned that the "ignition advance curves looks" good. Is this what we should pay attention to? What would a bad "ignition advance curve" look like.
