318 idle

just want to ask guys
my car 318 e90 rev counter sits arround 600 on idle, when engine warm - is it right? car runs fine.

petrol 2006,
like said before car runs fine, just never paid attenttion before. On most my ex cars, rev counter sat 800/900 on warm idle.
When cold idle counter on 1100, but on warm idle it goes to 600/700

Sorry, i'm in a diesel (still find that hard to say) so it wouldn't help knowing what mine sits at. To be honest with you it doesn't sound like a problem. My last car used to idle very low (around 500) when warm, it actually idled so low i'd often wonder if the engine had died when sat at traffic lights.

probably diesel idles bit higher than petrol, my last few cars were diesel as well
