Fortunately my wife likes manuals. We have 4 cars and all have manuals!
I think I am just being considerate actually. She did not refuse to learn, I didn't really ask her to. I have a prefference for but its not that important to me. I guess I am being PC here, but hey you can't win them all. I can still get a MT then no one will "borrow" it from me.... But then again sometimes I appretiate help with the driving. Maybe after getting a Proceded-335 I will feel very differently. Time will tell. IMO if I get the MT, it is obvious no consideration entered my thoughts. In the end of the day not worth the trouble.

Follow-Up Test: Vishnu Performance Systems BMW 335i Coupe

An excellent review by Edmunds of the Vishnu system in my opinion, especially for the cost of the mod even with the exhaust mod.

maybe bmw is right and the coupe is that 0.1 faster which makes it another 0.2 faster down the track. almost a procede over the sedan.. lolol

Car and Driver, who does a very good job of correcting for altitude, wind, humidity, etc., actually found their E90 test car to be faster than their E92.

Bottom line is that the coupe and sedan should perform identically in a straight line. Any slight measured differences are likely the result of factory production variances in the engine.

Well so far stock for stock, both the Coupe and Sedan have run 13.3s in the 1/4. I think the bigger difference on the PROcede dynos is 1. Octane 2. Transmission...and the PROcede will end up reducing 1/4 ET a lot more than 0.2 seconds once someone actually runs with decent tires. I'd really like to see a stock 335i run on drag radials. 13.0 would be realistic, maybe even 12.9x with optimal conditions.
