Procede...Xede....any response...???

I sent emails at the end of Dec...early Jan regarding the Xede. I got immediate responses regarding the install...the difficulty..etc.. I placed an order in early Jan and now I can't even get any updates or responses on my order. I understand the new Procede is being shipped but a friendly response to my emails giving me a timeframe would be nice....March...April...?? I'm just curious if I'm the only one experiencing this? I'm a little concerned about the post support.....after I receive it...if I do at all.

The guys at Vishu are bogged down trying to fill all of the orders(at a rate of 20/week), so it seems pretty understandable why their customer service may be a bit below par right now. I wouldn't worry about the support; it'll be there as soon as they get caught up I'm sure. I think your best bet to get an update would be to PM shiv if his PM box isn't full already.

Try calling; go to their Web site, get the phone phone number and call...leave a message if you have to but FWIW, they're a small company, and Shiv's obviously been busy doing PROcede installs recently...just give them some time to get back to you.

I'm not trying to harass him I tried sending 2 PM's and multiple emails just asking for an update.....Zero response. I'm excited and I look forward to the unit...I just wanted a "your number 453....we are sending out number 244..."...or something to give me a timeframe. I agree they are bogged down but a two second email goes a long way and will keep me in my seat...anxiously awaiting my toys..

+1

Each time that I have called they have been very friendly and helpful. I think that they honestly don't know how long it will take to fill the backlog. Plan on a couple of months, then if they deliver early, you will be pleasantly surprised

Good luck!

Vishnu has always had this problem as they don't have the man power. I think Shiv was planning to address this in the near future by contracting a company to handle the ordering, and shipping process so they can focus strictly on tuning and R&D. Also Vishnu does alot of publicity stuff which takes up time like One Lap, Car & Driver, Edmunds, etc... which takes up alot of their already right schedule.

Also Vishnu has to rely on suppliers and they don't manufacture any of parts except for maybe the wiring harness. So there are alot of areas where delays or problems in customer service can show up, but when you do get in touch with them they are usually very helpful and their products atleast from I have seen in the past are all top notch. Dyno tuning is always recommended as you will get to meet Shiv, ask questions, get a good custom tune, and be the first one to get a Procede. Oh yeah and if you are in a good area, let Shiv drive and test the Procede
