330D LCI real BHP?

Hi Guys,

Does anyone know if the 245 BHP quoted on the LCI 330D is accurate?

Anyone got any rolling road results?

Cheers!

My pre-LCI 330d (2007 car) produced 245bhp on the rollers as standard, so I assume the LCI car will produce more?

The numbers from BMW are pretty accurate.

But you know you want to remap it and break that 300 mark

I'd love a remap, but for the time being I'm happy with the 245+ break. Besides, the wife complains enough as it is!! LOL

That's what I thought.

I think plug in boxes are the only options.....

We have 3 options for the new 245PS version:

CRD2 single channel (common rail only)
CRD-T 2 channel, common rail + turbo sensor
CRD-I 3 channel, common rail, turbo sensor, plus crank sensor...

Infact we're looking for an LCI 330d owner to pop up and give us some feedback on the various systems

Hi

We do indeed.

300hp from this engine, track tested with superb delivery

They do tend to hit pretty much bang on 245hp on the dyno too

If I was getting a map, which I'm probably not going to consider until the car is out of warantee, I'd come to you guys - you always got really good reviews on SeatCupra net (used to have Leon FR 170).

I assume the expected torque and power figures vary depending on the package? I am getting a 330d LCI (2010) this week which i don't mind bringing to you if you are still looking.
