need help with my new seats with electric lumbar

hi iv just fiited some new seat into my e90 se they are the full leather m sport seats manual but has elcetric electric lumbar suport, any ideas how i would get the lumbar suport to work, the passenger sides are right out so need to get them in some how. thanks

just done this myself plugged them in and they worked straight away, they work by blowing up a bag and when you want to release them they deflate the same as the bolster supports, just noticed you have the manual seats you need the wiring to make them work

Hi, the wiring looms are different in certain 3 series. I f you had the basic seats with no lumbar, no electric movement. Then you have to some wiring. At the bottom of your seat, mounted on the bracket is a yellow box, with wires. The only wiring this would house (if you have standard cloth seats) are the wires for your pre tensioners. You'll need 2 additional wires which have to be either taken to the back of the fuse board. Also you need to get the wires in the correct order for the electric lumbar to work. I was lucky my friend let me have a look at his wiring & i just copied it. It also involves removing the seat so you can feed wires underneath the carpet. Hard work...But worth it if you like lumbar.....

i will have a pair of black leather full electric without lumbar but heated sports seats for sale in about 3 weeks out of an e92 in as new condition if of any interest £490

yes the e90 seats fitted no problem about 3 hour to fit the lot plus door cards, iv got the lumbar working iv just added an extra wire all works like it should..
