Got my third half engine last week. Just restart and continue to have fun. I'll wait for v2 before I change anything.

I only had it happen once when using the paddles. I was driving pretty normal too. I didn't know the system would clear itself. I'm waiting for V2.0

Same thing happen to me also - first times I was doing about 40 and punch it to about 60 then slowed down to 40 again and then punched it to 60 and them BAM - Limp Mode. I tried the same thing again today and sure enough - Limp Mode.

It's been about 3 weeks from the first time to this time and all the time inbetween never had any issues.

I plan on bringing in the car to the dealership tomorrow (I only have 38K on the odometer and I'm covered until 100K) - What do you think they will do?

Wow - My Bad,

I didn't even notice. I was doing a search under "Limp Mode" rather then just ask the question without searching first.

The sad part is the same issues is still happening 3 years later - the only difference is my 2007 335i is 3 years old and their 2007 335i was brand new at the time but we all are having the same issues - how sad.
