Go for the 335D, you will always want one if you buy a 330D so spend a little more on diesel and have what you want.
My 335D will do near 40 or good long steady drives, more like 30 in day to day short A road blasts with a bit of fun thrown in. |

The trip computer says 30.3 mpg on my 330D e91 and thats mainly town driving with the odd motorway trip.
On that basis I'd agree with Davyk31. If he's getting similar mpg I'd rather have the 335d although I did just get an evolve remap to make me feel better. |

Hi
There is quite a difference between the 'old' and the new 330d engine. I have a dec 09 e91 lci 330d auto now done 10k miles which is now showing an average 43.4 on the obc (reset 1.5k ago). I do a mix of mostly a and b roads with little motorway. Any motorway trips are usually at enthusiastic speeds! I'm sure a manual would be better, its just a pity that they didn't fit the 8 speed auto for the 2010 model year. |

56 335d.
on a solid motorway only run being sensible i can get late 30's up to around 41.5 i think was the best although my usual mix of rushing because i'm late and town driving puts me at an av of 34.5 - 37ish typically. current tank i've done bournemouth, guildford and reading runs hitting 37. |

My LCI e90 330d Auto shows 47mpg on OBC, but calculates at 45 generally. (about 550 miles between fill-ups)
I think from observation of peoples comments the 335d will do about 5mpg less than an Auto 330d. |
