E90 M tech vs DD M tech kit
What are the fundamental differences between the Duke Dynamics M tech kit, and the original M tech kit? Also, will the hamman m-tech diffuser fit the DD kit? Thanks!

are you talking the whole kit or just the rear bumper?
If you are talking the rear bumper; Here is the comparison pic. the side skirts and front bumper are completely different from the E90 M-tech. http://www.604racing.com/index.php?c...565a3b9a9cfdcb |

You are looking, depending on where, somewhere from $1.5k (Parkview, I think someone managed to haggle down to that price) for just the kit to over 4k including install (BMW Toronto). I got mine for about 1.2k CAD from Tischer and had it installed at a very good paintshop. I know people can get the kit installed for prices from $1k to 2k.
Having compare the DD and OEM, the rear of the DD is more aggressive. I would go with the M tech kit since the DD is about the same price, unless you got it at a much cheaper price.

I know for sure 1clean335i bought a DD CF diffuser for his OEM rear and it doesn't fit without cutting and modding it.

Before I got my M-Tech kit, I was struggling with getting the DD or not. I decided on OEM based on the following:
1. I had heard that DD was having problems with fitment. 2. OEM quality is leaps and bounds better. 3. Cost difference was negligible...only cause I ordered from Tischer. In fact, I think OEM was cheaper at the time I got mine. I bought when dollar was at par. I had it shipped to Seattle and drove down and had it painted and installed there. I left my stock stuff down there and the bodyshop gave me a few hundred dollars credit for my stock parts (a loss, I know, but didn't want to carry them across the border). This way, no tax or duty. Tischer cost for whole M-Tech kit was around $1200 CAD (dollar was at par). Paint and install was $1400 or $1700. |

I bought my kit when it was 1 CAD = .80 USD. At that time shipping was cheap because they managed to ship the whole kit in one large box. Customs and brokage was suprisingly low.
Having seen the DD kit in person, you do need quite a bit of prep work to get it look nice.
