Headlights look green to me.. :(

Ok,

So i slapped in some GP thunders the other week, and honestly they look a bit green imo and not nearly bright enough in the day time..

Do we have any news of the bulbs in the LCI e92/93 yet at all?

Might have to bite the bullet and get some LEDs.. ouch

8500K is way more than OEM HID and will look violet / green.

i want them to match the xenons really...

so, shall i order some 7500k or will i have to get some LEDs for a proper match?

i want them ideally to be as bright as the stock lights, just.. white/blue (and not green) :O

Get some 7500 like Del had as pictured above. That looks like a decent match (even though it's still considerably higher than the xenon temp)

No, is the simple answer.

4300k will look like the OEM xenon and will be bright.

As you go up in kelvin to say 6000 they will get more blue and less bright. 8500k is seriously blue/purple and will be pretty dull.

As the above demonstrates, the colour temperartures at the lower end closer to natural daylight provide the best illumination as opposed to looking like a tart.

As far as corona rings are concerned the bulbs Del posted in his e92 look about right even though they're too high on paper.

so i've just noticed that it's only one of my headlights that looks green, and the other one is fine!

is there some quality control issues we don't know about with the gp thunders?

really considering some LED bulbs now.. just need to make sure they don't interfere with the radio.. recommendations?

Are the GP thunders xenons or replacement bulbs for the angel eye rings??

If they are xenons then they will change colour depending at the angle you are looking at them from, just something to bare in mind.

angle eyes.. was just looking head on in a car park because i noticed the colour difference last night in a traffic jam in a reflection..

i spent a good 5mins looking like a plonker in my local retail park car park before concluding they were infact different colours

this is DRLs only btw.. they look fine with the main beams on
