Steps for a nice wet shine on TiAg
I have a TiAg e92 coupe and although I have used Klasse on it I have never gotten that really clean wet shine I so want. It is hard to descirbe the shine I mean, almost a cool wet look. The finish is in pretty good shape, not a lot of deep swirls but some light swirling. I do not have a Porter yet so it would be by hand. Any ideas for a mid priced regime to get that look I long for?
I was looking at Poorboys selant glaze and natty red but am open to any suggestions. Thanks!~

I agree. I have the portal cable and I use 3m producs(polish and some times swril remover) and to top it off to get that wet look you are talking about i use p21S carnauba wax.

I would recommend either the Blackfire Wet Diamond or OPT Opti-Seal for sealants on TiAg. Both will yield excellent results on TiAg paint applied by hand. You might find the Opti-Seal slightly easier to work with, but both products are very good.
The sealants won't help your swirls, regardless of how light they are. M205 can be used by hand with good results for light swirls. The PCXP will save your arm and allow you to be more consistant, not to mention save you a bunch of time. You might want to try one of the DI package deals (like this one) if/when you're ready to invest in a PC.

I was looking at the Blackfire line as well as the P21. I wa going to go with Wet Diamond with polycharger and then Midnight Sun wax. How often do you polich the car? I do not want to overdo that because the finish on the newer cars seems a little thinner than was years ago.
For the interior I am going to go with Leatjherique Oil and the Pristine clean. Everything I have read about them has been positive and the black leather seems to be graying lately. What do you suggest for the interior surfaces? My concern is that living in Arizona there is a lot of fine dirt blowing around. It seems most of the interior products leave a film that attracts and holds the fine dirt on the surfaces. I want to protect them but that greasy slimy feel is what I want to avoid. Thanks for your tips and suggestions!

With a light polish like M205 or Menzerna PO203S, you can safely polish twice a year without much concern. There really shouldn't be much need to polish more frequently than that. It's better to do light polishes in the spring/fall than to let it go and have to use heavier compounds eventually.
Leatherique is great stuff, you won't be disappointed. DI's Ask-A-Pro section features a how-to guide for using it correctly here. When applied correctly, it leaves zero gloss and makes the leather look "new" rather than "treated". For the interior plastics and trim, try some 303 Aerospace. Much like the Leatherique, it doesn't leave behind a greasy film.

Good choices! We would love to see some pics after you've detailed your ride. But after 4 months, definitely spend some time behind the wheel first.
