Hi, I am looking to purchase a new set of Continental Brand RFT in 17" size with specs of 225/45/17 All-Season for local pickup. I have '06 325XI Sports Package and all 4 tires are the same size. My Bridgestones are running thin. Thanks

Have you tried tirerack or any other online (or local store)? A lot of people's
cars come with bridgestone and those that come with contis aren't crazy
enough to sell their brand new contis

That's where I will ultimately have to turn to if there are no takers out there. Just looking for a deal, the feedback on RFT regardless of brand is negative among enthusiast on this board. I figured a few will dump their RFT and go with regular tires.

That's not true. My car came with contis and after 17,500 miles they are
still going strong with plenty of life left in them. I think from the RFTs, it's
the best tire out there overall. Personally I like them and I haven't seen
people saying bad things about the Contis (or maybe I missed their posts)

I assume you don't have the ZSP?

Correct but neither does the OP I assume (???) since he is looking for
225/45/17. But regardless, at that size the best RFT is the Conti.

That's cool...I was just wondering is ANYONE in the USA has the ZSP + Conti RFTs...looks like they are not in yet -- only Bridgestones and Pirelli choices for us (both crap)

Yes, I do have ZSP. I agree with u on the conti, the feedback has been overwhelmingly positive compared to bridgestone brand rft. I hope I can find someone who are willing to let them go for a fair deal.

Just checked with tirerack.com and found the conti's all season were pretty darn cheap at 138 a pop. I always assumed it was as expensive as the bridgestone. Mod should delete this thread.
