Golf ball size just south of Dallas this morning according to the radio. We are under the gun for later. It is a scary sound when it comes down for sure.
I sat and watched a neighbor run out in it years ago. He got hit in the face by a big un and ran back inside. Roofing and dent repair is a solid biz down here.

When I was growing up we had a really bad spring hail storm in my home town. After the storm all of the car dealerships were selling all of the dinged up cars for literally half price because of all the dents.
It was crazy, the senior parking lot at the HS changed overnight... haha. That was a bad storm, but nothing like in the video. |

Seen it like that before....this tornado missed my house by 500 yards or so, but my dad worked in the center of it...totalled his car...my car was in the garage, my friends was not. His car was hit with baseball/softball size hail and now looks like a fat chicks ass. Although, he is getting 2-3mpg better mpg, confirmed by an episode of mythbusters!! LOL
Im thinking there was MASSIVE tornado in there somewhere. For a storm to support a strong enough updraft like that, there is huge downdraft too. EDIT : cant get it link up on here but here is link to it on youtube. |

We lost power and and couldnt really do much that afternoon because of downed trees and power lines (after running across half of town checking on friends/family moments after, literally sprinting on adrenaline) we ended up just hitting hail for an hour, lol. It had 'melted' down to golfball ish size by 3 hours later. It was pretty crazy stuff. |
