Diesel Power

Hi All

I have just got back from the petrol station.

I pulled up to a diesel only pump, jumped out, opened my fuel cap and was just about to stick the nozzle in, when a cabbie ran across the forecourt and shouting and grab my hand.

“ What you doing mate… your about to put diesel in….” he said out of breath, he was a little on the round side.

So I explained that it was a diesel.

He said he was watching me come in and the car didn’t look or sound likes a diesel. and generally loved the car

Seeing that cabbies live in a diesel cars and see hundreds of cars every day go to be a good thing.

Putting a smile on my face I selected diesel power from my iPod and left.

Which then put another smile on my face, it sounded amazing on the logic 7 set up

I am now a diesel convert, and not shy about it

Excellent!

The 6 pot BMW derv is defo one of the best on the market and everyone that goes in mine says they wouldn't be able to tell it was a diesel if they didn't know.

My understanding is that the LCI 330d is even less diesel like than the old 330/335 so they just seem to be getting better and better.

I have the 2010 330d msport, and also drive the X3 40d msport. Apart from the rev counter showing the obvious signs its a diesel, you would struggle to know from the outside and inside of the car...best engine in its class imo.
