07 335i auto/sport/prem...fair price? tips?
Got my eye on an 07 335i with steptronic auto, sport and premium packages, HRE 19"s and possibly an aftermarket exhaust. Carfax shows it to be a fleet vehicle. I'm almost certain it's not a CPO vehicle. Listed with just under 44k miles.
Dealer has it listed for just under $26k, which KBB shows to be about $4k shy of where it could be retailed. What say ya'll? Good deal or not? Also, anything in particular to look out for on these? Any help is much appreciated. |

My bad, can't believe I left some of that off.
It's a sedan at a used luxury car dealer in Houston. It's also got paddles. Some other stuff I've found out is that it's a one owner car that was under lease to someone in south Florida. The car was bought at auction in Houston and then serviced at a local BMW dealer. To my knowledge, the car hasn't had the fuel pump replaced. |

The Galves trade-in (wholesale) value of a 2007 E90 (Sedan) 335i with a Steptronic Transmission, leather seats, and Sport Package (the other options that you mentioned don’t matter), with 44k miles is:
$20,525 + $1,500 (estimate) to recondition the vehicle. + dealer overhead. + dealer profit. = $ ________ The base mileage on the car is 35k, so the car has above average mileage. Although your BMW warranty expires in 6k miles, the HPFP is warranted for 10 yrs/120k miles. You should have a “friendly” BMW SA run the VIN for you in order to get the maintenance/repair history of the vehicle. If the car checks out OK, I’d get a PPI done at the BMW dealer BEFORE buying the car. You should be able to bargain the sale price of that car down to around $24,000.
