So my car doesn't have the shadowline trim, is there a vendor that sells it as a direct replacement? Has anyone just had theirs painted? Thanks

you can buy the shadowline trim, but it is quite pricey for some trimmings, imho.

you can prolly trade with someone's 328i, won't be shadowline but close i guess. thats if you have the E90

Try this shadowline tape. http://shadowlinetape.com I covered my trim in it. It is a lot easier to work with than vinyl. They also have matte and gloss black vinyl for your roof, grill, emblems, or about anything else you can think of. I also ordered yellow headlight film from them. Cool people.
