i just got my car last night and i couldnt find the navigation disc. i figured it would have been put in the DVD slot for me, but after i paid them...go figure. i go to leave and when i went over to navi on the joystick it asked me to insert the disc.

i went through all the books and papers and no disc.

i would have gone back inside the dealership, but i didnt leave there until 10pm...they close at 9 and the guy that sold me the car walked out with me. it wasnt until after he took off that i realized i didnt have the disc.

i need to go back today to give them a check and pick up some rubber floor mats for winter, so hopefully this is something they have in stock and i dont have to wait for.

anyone else have this happen?

Just make certain you get the latest version. It should be 2007-1.

good point. i will not be able to make the trip to the dealership, but a family member is going for me. i already called to tell them to call me before they leave so i can make sure of that.

does the same disc work for x5, m, 5 series, etc...or will i need a specific disc?

the disc is at home waiting for me. according to the dealer this one was the one i was suppose to get last night. however, i wont know if it works until i get home.

Also sometimes the dealers leave them in your trunk, so check there too. When I got mine, the disc was in the drive but the case was in the trunk.
