Aftermarket navi affecting the radar detector

I bought a aftermarket GPS/NAV Garman Nuvi 350 and was wondering if it will possibly affect the my Radar Detector (X50) if i mount them closely. my radar is in the middle of the winshiled and planning mounting the nav also in the middle just below it.

I have had minor issues in my other vehicles where I use a Garmin and an X50.

As far as electronic interference, I get none but the Garmin seems to get a quicker lock when it is not directly under the detector. I attribute this to the physical presence of the detector masking the sky.

I use them both daily and it is very rare I get a lock problem.

BTW, your sig is huge. I am using 1280 wide screen and it still has to scroll. People using 1024 must be cussing you since every thread has to be scrolled
