will front rim fit on rear?
I have a 2007 335i with the 18'' 7 spoke wheels. I think they are 18x8 in the front and 18x8.5 in the rear.
One of my front rims has a nasty curb rash on it, so i was going to buy a new rim/tire and use the curb rash one as a spare since i ditched the run flats. If i use this front wheel as a spare, will it fit on the rear if needed? Or do i have to buy a front and rear wheel?? Also, anyone have any experience with the chrome plated wheels on ebay? They look nice. Thanks |

It will fit, but you should only use it as a temporary measure because two different wheel/tire sizes on the same axle is a no-no.
Chrome wheels are also a no-no.

it's absolutely ok to use it as a spare and it will fit fine, the only difference is in width. I have 16in winter wheel as a spare.
